Introduction

EK-AI7933CLD is a highly integrated IoT module development board that mounted AI7933CLD features an ARM® Cortex-M33 application processor, a low power 1x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ax dual-band Wi-Fi subsystem, a Bluetooth v5.0 subsystem and a Power Management Unit (PMU) and audio DSP.

The Wi-Fi subsystem and a Bluetooth v5.0 subsystem offer feature-rich wireless connectivity at high standards, and deliver reliable, cost-effective throughput from an extended distance.

The AI7933CLD is designed to support standard based features in the areas of security, quality of service and international regulations, giving end users the greatest performance any time and in any circumstance.

This module is based on ARM® Cortex-M33 with floating point microcontroller (MCU) including SRAM/ROM memory.  The module also supports rich peripheral interfaces, including USB2.0 UART, SDIO, I2C, SPI master/slave, I2S, IR input, UART, AUXADC, PWM, and GPIOs.

General Description of Module

AcSiP Technology Corp. introduces a low-cost and low-power consumption IoT module. This stand-alone module is designed for internet of things (IoT) devices with smart connection and cloud application/services.

AI7933CLD is a highly integrated IoT module that features an ARM® Cortex-M33 application processor, a low power 1x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax dual-band Wi-Fi subsystem, a Bluetooth v5.2 subsystem, a Power Management Unit (PMU) and audio HiFi4 DSP.

The AI7933CLD is based on ARM® Cortex-M33 with floating point microcontroller (MCU) including SRAM/ROM memory. The module also supports rich peripheral interfaces, including USB2.0, SDIO, SPI master, I2C, I2S, IR input, UART, AUXADC, PWM, and GPIOs.

RGB LED

This EVB has on-board RGB LED which be controlled by SPIM interface and this is Matter demo with this feature.

There are some registers which placed need to be reworked before using SD card feature.

Evaluation Board Top View & Description

The EK-AI7933CLD board provides an affordable way for user to try out WiFi Node in IoT applications or new concepts of Wi-Fi6/BT5 RF feature evaluation. The development board uses AI7933CLD as a standalone development platform of RTOS to implement smart building, home surveillance, industry 4.0 and so on IoT projects. It is based on MT7933CT IC, Mediatek Filogic IoT solution, embedded ARM Cortex-M33 with FPU in package. The HDK enable rich peripherals, cutting edge connectivity and security features, user can develop the app to access cloud services through internet and real-time control multi-tasks for various applications included function purposes.

  2. Configuring RS232 terminal tool for log message showed on tool since power on
