Introduction
ST50L integrates ARM Coretex®-M4 (32-bit RISC core operating at a 48MHz frequency) MCU with LoRa modulation. It offers an ultra-long-range spectrum communication and high interference immunity simultaneously minimizing power consumption.
The ST50L can achieve sensitivity under -136 dBm. It has high sensitivity and combined with the integrated +21 dBm power amplifier yields. The industry-leading link makes it optimal for any low data rate application. LoRa also provides significant advantages in both blocking and selectivity over conventional modulation techniques. Solving traditional issues between range, interference immunity, and power consumption.

The ST50L can achieve a sensitivity of over -136 dBm. The high sensitivity combined with the integrated +21 dBm power amplifier yields industry leading link budget making it optimal for any low data rate application requiring range or robustness. LoRa also provides significant advantages in both blocking and selectivity over conventional modulation techniques, solving the traditional design compromise between range, interference immunity and energy consumption.

The EK-ST50L board provides an affordable way for user to try out LPWAN IoT applications or new concepts evaluation. It also compliance with STM32WL Necleo-64 board to support ARDUINO Uno V3 connectivity support and the ST morph headers. User can download firmware built from SDK via ST-Link to test software flow and debug error according to log shown on terminal tool.

Application note have showed essential RF layout info for developer reference and make certification approval easier.
Whether a harmonic suppression circuit is needed, depends on the EMI test result.
The Default LPF value are L5=15nH Murata LQW15AN, C1=7pF, C2=7pF.
The enhanced LPF value are L5=15nH Murata LQW15AN, L6=8.2nH Murata LQG15HS,
L7=3.9nH Murata LQG15HS, C1=3.6pF, C2=3.3pF.
Engineer Service
AcSiP provide HW/SW relevant engineer service for clients in module design phase and its technical resource has shown on each individual tabpage also. Additionally, we have provided those design review serivce before the engineer sample came out even debugged for revised one and the client can ask our sales window, E-Service for this help.
