Introduction

AI7931LD is a highly integrated IoT module that features an ARM® Cortex-M33 application processor, a low power 1T1R IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ax dual-band Wi-Fi subsystem, a Bluetooth Low Energy v5.0 subsystem, a audio DSP for VAD feature supported AMIC, DMIC and a Power Management Unit (PMU).

The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE subsystem offer feature-rich wireless connectivity at high standards, and deliver reliable, cost-effective throughput from an extended distance.

The AI7931LD is designed to support standard based features in the areas of security, quality of service and international regulations, giving end users the greatest performance any time and in any circumstance.

The AI7931LD is based on ARM® Cortex-M33 with floating point microcontroller (MCU) including SRAM/ROM memory. The module also supports rich peripheral interfaces, including SDIO, SPI master only, I2C, I2S_IN, IR input, UART, AUXADC, PWM, and GPIOs.

General Description

AcSiP Technology Corp. introduces a low-cost and low-power consumption IoT module. This stand-alone module is designed for internet of things (IoT) devices with smart connection and cloud application/services.

AI7931LD is a highly integrated IoT module that features an ARM® Cortex-M33 application processor, a low power 1x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax dual-band Wi-Fi subsystem, a Bluetooth subsystem and a Power Management Unit (PMU).

General Description

The EK-AI7931LD board provides an affordable way for user to try out WiFi Node in IoT applications or new concepts evaluation of Wi-Fi6/BT5 RF feature.

The development board uses AI7933CLD as a standalone development platform of RTOS to implement smart building, home surveillance, industry 4.0 and so on IoT projects.

It is based on AI7931LD module, Mediatek Filogic IoT solution, embedded ARM Cortex-M33 with FPU in package.

The HDK enable rich peripherals, cutting edge connectivity and security features, user can develop the application of Matter to access local devices CSA approved through Wi-Fi network and real-time control from controller’s panel of boarder router or mobile App to enjoy smart, security technical service.

How to Start

                        

User could follow up above steps to know more about AI7931LD development resource through EK-AI7931LD with SDK to test all examples within SW package or implement your application and prove its functions by SDK building, image downloaded to HDK for behavers, scenario verify for sure.

Power on & getting Log of default image downloaded into AI7931LD

  1. Driver package install and drivers info check
  2. Configuring RS232 terminal tool for log message showed on tool since power on
  3. Power source choose for EK-AI7931LD board by Con8 (Micro USB) or J1

        

Build Example & Developing Application - Developing your App by HDK & SDK

  • SDK download and build environment setup
  • Examples evaluate and image download
  • User could use common terminal software to control this module by default firmware with commands set which referred to product relevant Commands Set Reference document.
